D.I.R.T look 2

Designed for my Parsons School of Design senior thesis project: D.I.RT- Designed Innovated Regenerative Textiles.

The Charlie Jacket, is named after one of the head composters at Earth Matter NY, a community composting non-profit that donated tote bags to be upcycled. The jacket is reversible, and on the inside is Candiani regenerative denim. The logos on the jacket are various Earth Matter NY programs, like: The Lavender Farm, Soil Start Farm, and the Zero Waste Island Initiative.

The Leda sweater is named after the owner and farmer of Faraway Farms Alpaca, a regenerative alpaca farm located in upstate NY, whose fiber was used to knit the sweater. 

The Candi Wide Leg is named after Candiani, the company who donated raw regenerative denim used throughout the collection.
